Om Vidyalankar Shikshan Sanstha’s Asmita College of Arts and Commerce for Women was established in 1989 with Junior College and Degree College was started from 1992. The College is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. “Empowerment of Women through Education” has been the broad objective with which the College was established. This college has been catering the educational needs of girl students belonging to middle and lower middle classes not only from Vikhroli but also from Ghatkopar right up to Mulund and Thane.
